Lance Jepson offers a professional veterinary serviice for pet exotic and aquatic animals based primarily in the South-West Wales area, although three-monthly surgeries in Surrey are offered at Alfold Veterinary Surgery.

Species covered include, but are not exclusive to:

Mammals: rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, primates, ferrets, skunks, pet rats and other small rodents.

Birds: parrots and related species, birds of prey.

Reptiles: tortoises, lizards, snakes (including venomous) and crocodilians.

Amphibians: frogs, toads, newts and salamanders (and caecilians for completeness!)

Fish: koi, goldfish, discus, tropical freshwater and tropical marine fish.

Invertebrates: spiders, beetles, snails...

Exotic Pet Owners: A standard first opinion is available at the normal surgeries listed on the left-hand side.

Zoo and private collections: contact Lance via a vet4dragons' host practice in the first instance.

Veterinary Surgeons: A formal referral and second opinion service is offered for your clients with exotic species. Please telephone the nearest vet4dragons' host practice to you in the first instance. A case history will be required.

Local Authorities: Zoo licensing (Lance Jepson is a List 1 Secretary of State's Zoo Inspector), DWA inspections, pet shop inspections, advice on non-domestic species.

Fisheries: Lance Jepson is approved for Section 30 Health Examinations
